Jason Smith founded Torchlight Technologies when he was in high school at the age of 17.  Throughout his career at UT – San Antonio he continued to grow the business.  And, in  order to get a “job” after college, all he really had to do was graduate – and then go to work full time for himself as the President of this growing technology and networking services firm.

Jason’s focus is on Open Source solutions and is aligning with other Open Source experts to help their clients to not only build open, scalable solutions, but he encourages a culture of collaboration.

When it comes to hosting solutions, Jason encourages his clients to understand the differences between managed and dedicated hosting and as well cloud computing.
